This video shows my creative process when working with acrylic on paper. These particular pieces are done with a roller and stencils and then finally a pen to add detail. – enjoy
This is part of an acrylic and pen series on water color paper. Vibrant surf art inspired by the waves on the North Shore of Oahu. I used a roller of ink on paper with stencils to create the shape of the wave. Then I add the ink to add detail. This is an original illustrations on high quality watercolor paper. Each is one of a kind. See the whole collection on etsy.
Just a few random drawings that I had on some extra sheets of paper… These were from the making of the surf film, Way of The Ocean: Australia. There were many good waves down there and I was drawing and surfing a lot: a perfect balance. The fun part about just drawing on scrap paper is there is no pressure, just put the pen down and whatever comes out is just and idea, maybe for a larger painting, or perhaps just a small piece of a collage.
